First Love
Hiroshi and Tokiko are schoolmates in the same club. When Tokiko confesses her feelings to Hiroshi, the two begin to discover the ups and downs of love for the first time.
This short and sweet story recalls a simpler time before cell phones. Written to be very accessible to learners, we hope this story will feel like a small slice of nostalgia. (Ongoing, 6 episodes)
Episode 1
Hiroshi is surprised by schoolmate Tokiko.
Notes: This episode contains a note on a common relationship between pairs of mimetic words, one on a special use of する to mean that a sensation is perceptible, and more.
